— I’m busy getting prepared to shoot a wedding in August. As you know I’m not a wedding photographer, it’s a totally different beast, but the couple who asked me knew that going in and still wanted me. It’s such an honor for someone to place so much trust in you to document such an important event. I do not want to let them down.

— With that said, my most favorite lens, the canon 24-70 mm lens, died. I’m not sure what happened. I went to Florida with it around my shoulder, protected of course, and when I pulled it out at the hotel it was all jammed up. Quite devastating! I haven’t taken it in to get fixed — I fear what it will cost me.

— I have slowly, but surely been working on a website. I only started in October 2012 so I’m making good progress, NOT! That is going to be my be push this fall.

— I’m still loving project life, so much so that I’ve actually stayed up to date on it, something I usually struggle with on projects. I will be sharing soon, however, I have so many weeks it will be a lot easier to do a video.

— I’m trying to figure out a way for Megan to get her tonsils out without having to go through all the red tape. You’d think with how much you give the insurance companies that they’d be working for you. It’s a backwards world we live in.
