Step two: add the letter stickers. We put love is in the air, but you could put your childs name or skip this step all together.

Step three: Take two straws and stack them together. I achieved this by pinching one of the ends of the straw and pushing into the other. Do that four times.

Step four: Hot glue the straws into place in the corners of the basket. This took a lot of glue and patience as we had to wait for the glue to set up before letting go of the straws. Once the straws were stable to stand on own I added more glue for stability.

Step five: Add a dot of hot glue to the tips of the straws and wait for the glue to cool a bit. It should still be tacky but not super hot.

Step Six: For added color we added curly ribbon to the straws with hot glue.

Step Seven: Create a tag and add your child’s name. You could also add name to balloon.
